Porcelain Veneers

What are Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers are thin layers of porcelain that are adhered to the front of the patient’s existing teeth. They are a great way to fix the look of chipped or broken teeth, and are becoming ever more popular, as they are a simple way to improve your smile.

The procedure requires skill and attention to aesthetic detail on the part of the dentist. Hubert Family Dentistry places veneers regularly, and designs each veneer on a per patient basis, as no two smiles are alike.

Will They Look Like Normal Teeth?

After bonding to the existing teeth, the ceramic veneers are so thin that they look real to the untrained eye. The veneers are highly resistant to cigarette stains, and even to coffee and tea stains. The look and feel of the veneers is like no other restorative dental procedure. Veneers look exactly like normal, healthy teeth.

How Durable are Porcelain Veneers?

If taken care of correctly (proper brushing, flossing, etc.), a patient’s porcelain veneers can last for over a decade.

Drs. David Hubert and Adam Hubert promise to use the best porcelain in crafting each and every veneer, and that every veneer will be bonded with industry leading adhesives and materials.

To lengthen the life of your veneers, do not use them to open or cut objects, as using them as tools can cause them to break. If accidental damage occurs, it is possible, in most cases, to replace only the broken veneer.
